I've always believed that the person
who enters therapy is a brave soul.

Coming to therapy means taking a leap of faith that the therapist will hear you and respond with empathy,
connecting in a way that makes the experience comforting, in an environment of acceptance with purpose and growth.

The impetus that compels someone to come to therapy may be depression, anxiety, relationship issues,
or a general lack of fulfillment in life.  You may want to be compassionate to your thriving inner critic.

All are a genesis to a new beginning that we will work on together.

YOU'RE NOT ALONE.

Women's lives are constantly
in flux, often in a state
of giving or exhaustion.
While a voyage can be choppy
and surprises do happen,
it is also possible to learn to
ride the waves with adventure,
stillness, and humor.

LIFE IS MESSY.

Feelings contradict each other.
One moment you're sad,
the next you're laughing.
Sometimes things are all bad,
sometimes you just don't know
how you feel. Sometimes you
know how you feel, you just
aren't sure what to do with it.

YOU ARE IMPORTANT.

As women, we are taught to
suppress our feelings for the
good of others. We are told to
swallow our desires, cover up our insecurities, and push through it.
We are our own worst critic
and fail to say we are good
just the way we are.
